In the surroundings of Banská Štiavnica you will find well-known places for swimming and relaxation, known for their healing effects. Do you love the feeling of being warmed to the bone in a thermal pool? Or lounging in bubbles, massage or sauna? We will be happy to recommend a few places where you can enjoy yourself.
Sklené Teplice Thermal SPA (20 min.)
Ideal for body and mind regeneration. Sklené Teplice is known for its healing water, which is truly unique, springing from 7 springs of the volcanic zone. The water contains a high concentration of healthy minerals that have a positive effect on the nerves and muscles.
The most popular is the cave steam bath “Parenica” – yes, the pool is really located right in the cave. You will experience the incredible atmosphere of this bath with a temperature of 42 degrees. Due to its popularity, we recommend checking the entrances and occupancy in advance ;).
Further in Teplice you will find the “Banská SPA” – a thermal pool with a replica of Botticelli’s fresco The Birth of Venus or the Bath of Maria Theresa in antique style. The advantage of these warm pools is a calmer atmosphere – families with small children tend to spend time outdoors, near “classic” swimming pools.
Water paradise Vyhne (20 min.)
The Water paradise Vyhne offers bathing and swimming opportunities in the outdoor pool – there is a classic pool, but also a shallower part for non-swimmers. We definitely recommend the overflow pool with pearls, which offers a wonderful view of the surrounding nature.
In addition, you can treat yourself to a sauna, a bathtub or a massage. And after a hearty massage, fragrant luxurious duvets await you in our holiday houses.
SPA Sliač and Holidaypark Kováčová (35 min.)
A little further from Klinger, in the direction of Zvolen, you can visit the spa at Sliač. The spa offers a wide range of procedures not only for relaxation, but also with healing effects. The offer includes whirlpool massages of the limbs, a Finnish sauna, a bubble bath and massages.
For more active types, Holidaypark Kováčová is a short distance from Sliač – there are also outdoor and indoor pools for relaxation and swimming. Since there is also a pool for children and water slides, prepare for a noisier “swimming pool” atmosphere :).
